As a trained sports scientist and certified engineer, I have experienced many things that science cannot explain. What truly interests me are the marvelous facts of life. I integrate modern science, experience with myself and hundreds of clients, and ancient traditions. The latest sports science, neurobiology, biomechanics, psychology, energy work, deep experiences, and a holistic perspective.

Your body is not just a lump of flesh; it is a bioenergetic system with thoughts and emotions. Psycho-emotional and spiritual aspects are expressed through your body and are embedded within your body. Your body also encompasses subtle levels.

Understand what pain and discomfort are telling you and learn your body's logic.

Your Host

Tim Böttner is a holistic health, fitness, and lifestyle coach. He holds a degree in sports science and engineering, and has completed numerous national and international trainings and certifications in the fields of training, therapy, coaching, and nutrition. With "Think Flow Grow," he combines modern science and practical experience with the wisdom of nature and alternative traditions to offer a holistic, root-cause-oriented, and integrative approach. Tim shares his knowledge of holistic health through seminars, workshops, online courses, 1:1 coaching, and the "Think Flow Grow" podcast.

Over the past 15 years, I have learned endless movement and training concepts, including neurology, movement culture, fascial therapy, functional training, weightlifting, kettlebell training, CrossFit, Reiki, and nutrition and lifestyle coaching, among others. I have had the privilege of learning from some of the most inspiring mentors in the world.

I have conducted over 800 personal training sessions, taught over 1500 group classes, and instructed in numerous sports retreats.

I have participated in powerlifting, climbing, athletics, and CrossFit competitions, completed marathons and long trail runs in the mountains, tested various nutrition concepts, and conducted the most extraordinary biohacks. I have fasted for days, practiced numerous breathing techniques for years, and experimented with extreme cold exposure.

Through these experiences, I have learned a great deal about the body and movement. I am an absolute "nerd" and love reading and continuing education. However, I have done and witnessed many things that are simply not possible according to textbooks. Honestly, much of what we learn is not true in real life. While I have studied science and engineering, I am not bound by any particular profession. I am grateful not to have to be a specific type of doctor. I enjoy the freedom of not having to be anyone in particular. I am committed to truth, goodness, and beauty. I combine my experiences from alternative Eastern traditions, spiritual teachers, my meditations, and extreme boundary-pushing experiences with modern science and technology. I love exploring extremes to teach balance.
